How to Make Simple Grilled Peaches

Since my family got a large grill, we’ve been trying to cook almost every single meal on it- especially in the hot summer months. Grilling for every meal is a perfect way to keep the house cool and have a chance to get some fresh air. However, it may seem that some meals can’t be grilled, like a desert. Living in Colorado has its perks, and Palisade Peaches are some of the best. These peaches are world-famous for being a step above all other peaches, and they can usually be found on rural roadsides being sold for $5 a box. When given an opportunity to make a simple but fancy meal, I take it with these grilled peaches with a cinnamon sugar butter glaze.
The recipe is so simple and quick that it can be done in a matter of minutes, even if one isn’t the best at grilling things. These peaches don’t necessarily have to be grilled, as you can just as easily be baked in an oven, or cooked with a cast iron griddle on the stove. After cooking, the peaches can be served with a couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream or topped with whipped cream.
