First, use the measuring cup and spoons to measure out the linguine ingredients.
Then, pour the oil, salt, and water into the cooking pot.
Bring the ingredients to a boil over high heat.
Then, drop the heat to medium and add in the box of linguine pasta.
Occasionally move the pasta around with kitchen tongs while cooking so the pasta doesn’t stick together.
Cover with the lid and cook the linguine for 12 minutes stirring occasionally.
Then, place a mesh strainer in a large glass bowl.
Carefully and thoroughly drain the pasta through the strainer.
Transfer the cooked pasta to a large serving bowl and set aside.

Next, preheat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Melt the butter in the skillet.
Drop in the chopped shallots and minced garlic and sauté the ingredients until fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
Next, pour in cooking white wine.
Then, add in the defrosted shrimp.
Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes.
Flip the shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add in the salt and pepper and mix well.
Next, transfer the cooked shrimp to a serving bowl and toss the shrimp with lemon juice.
Then, add the shrimp to the large bowl of linguine pasta.
Garnish the scampi pasta with chopped parsley and toss the pasta again.
