First, prepare the deviled egg ingredients with the measuring cup and spoons, and hard boil the eggs. Here’s my process for perfect Hard-Boiled Eggs.
Once the eggs are prepared properly, crack and peel all of the boiled eggs.
Then, use a knife to cut each egg in half lengthwise on a cutting board.
Next, use a fork to start scooping the egg yellows into a mixing bowl.
Repeat this process for all of the egg yellows.
Then, add in the mayonnaise, dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Mix all the ingredients until fully combined.
Next, transfer the egg mixture into a piping bag fitted with a metal piping tip. Close the bag with a piping bag tie.
Then, set out all of the egg whites with the cut side facing up.
One by one, pipe the yellow egg filling into the egg whites.
Continue this egg filling process until all the eggs are full.
Garnishing Football Eggs
First, cut the chives in a few 1 inch pieces (1 for each deviled egg) and several ⅓ inch pieces (3 for each deviled egg).
Finally, arrange the chives on top of each deviled egg to look like football lacing. Serve and enjoy!
