First, gather up all the kitchen tools and measure out all the pumpkin pie cake ingredients.
Then, pour the flour, salt, baking powder, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice into a glass mixing bowl and mix everything together with a blending whisk.
Next, add in the vanilla, milk, and pumpkin puree to the dry ingredient mixture.
Whisk all the ingredients together until completely combined.
Then, spray a microwave safe mug with the cooking oil spray.
Microwave the mug cake mixture for 2 minutes.
After microwaving, let the mug cake cool before topping.
After cooling, pipe some fresh, homemade whipped cream on top of the pumpkin pie mug cake.
Finally, garnish the mug cake with cinnamon and enjoy immediately!
